I thought a general thread that i can post anything on would be better than creating dozens of new threads lol....so I will sticky this and anyone can use it for chat or questions
Well the weather is not very good here, so I’m not going to be able to plant the rest of my plants, so im going to create a PSP and credit links thread today...

A beautiful sunny afternoon here in Yorkshire...still not sure where the heatwave is yet though lol...trouble is time is moving so fast we have already had the longest day...before we know it..we will be going into Autumn...
This year has been Annus horribilis as the queen once said in one of her speeches lol...Annus horribilis is a Latin phrase, meaning "horrible year"...I think it hits the nail on the head  ... Hopefully things will pick up..but I dont think anyone is going to forget the (in the year 2020)...
As a matter of interest annus mirabilis, means "wonderful year". Now thats something ive learnt new today lol...

Looks like Proboards are still going ahead with their 'contribution scheme' personally i think its a disgrace, but if people want to 'donate' thats their prerogative...they talk about money issues and contributing towards Proboards...but we all ready have advertising on our forums, and those advertisers will pay good money to Proboards...so in a way us freebie loaders are already paying our way with the adverts in question, the more free forums there are, the more advertising they get,and the more money goes in the pot etc etc.. if we dont want ads we upgrade, so in that way Proboards is in a win, win situation....However this is only my opinion....

Roll on Friday  this really is one of my biggest gripes, along with many other people no doubt...we all have to wear facemasks in shops, except the shop staff...how does that work if one of the staff is stocking shelves...i cant make head nor tail out of the newest rule...WHY? as again, many other people have questioned, is it now, why wasnt it put into place at the beginning? But at least i have some masks that i like lol..with cats on of course, and i have just ordered one that doubles up as all sorts...scarf, bandana, hat even, and of course a mask... but with no daft earloops lol, again with cats on, would i choose anything else lol...then at least when things do get better you can use it for all sorts...

I feel as if my world has got smaller again...we have just had more restrictions put on us because we live in West Yorkshire...none of it makes sense...we are not allowed to visit family either in the home or garden...yet we can go to a pub...and all sorts of other blurb that doesnt make sense...when is this world going to normalize? Will it EVER normalize?

Well we had one day of hot sunshine lol...now its cool and dull again...ohhhh well at least it lets me do my graphics lol... My interest is really beginning to soar...but its obviously going to take time to get to the stage i was before....because ive forgotten everything lol...but this time im using some really good PTU tubes....it really does make a difference, to the feel and as long as i can afford, i have more choice, plus i can use my favourite artists...so thats good all round..

Another Sunday and another week ahead...time seems to be going nowhere...but im getting more confident in my graphics...Ive discovered a lot of artists Ive never been able to use before, but now Im in a better position to do do so, its opened a whole new world up for me...One of them is my favourite Alicia Mujica, i love her art work. Her website is well worth a visit.

Well hopefully things may be looking up a bit....Steve's back at work albeit flexi furlow...Dame might have a job after being made redundant from his last one cos of the Covid...I finally seem to be getting back into the swing of my graphics and animation...although its a learning curve each time i do it...its helped because I am using PTU tubes and the artwork is brilliant...My beef is still about the masks though, I dont want to go out at the best of times, and now the odd times i do, i have to wear a mask, which i really cannot stand...i feel as if i cant breathe, and feel like running out of the shop to get air...with a bit of luck, they will do away with them eventually... |

Well we are in October, and things seem to be getting from bad to worse....we are back on a partial lockdown, and are not allowed to see our family either in indoors or outdoors! Yet not all areas are the same Steve's daughter lives in Wakefield and they dont have the restrictions, so I am still hoping i can do the annual halloween party and they will be able to come, unfortunately I dont think our Jan and David will be able to come, because they are under restrictions! They normally come, but people are facing hefty fines, if they are found to have broken the rules...oh PHOOOOOOYYY I say....Is there ever going to be an end to this nightmare?! Even the trick or treating for the kids has been banned! And it looks like there will be no Bonfire night this year neither....Christmas is looming as well so we will see what BOJO(Boris) has got in store for us then! cute-kitten-sorry--emoticon

Sabina... I don't know what to say except thank you so much...it's so good of you to do this... I've been in a not very good place recently...and FB tipped me over with being hacked...my eldest son NIck who is 40 has got melanoma and me and Steve are supporting him as much as we can....we go to his apps etc...he's dylexic so has a poor memory, so it's better when we are there...other than that... he has a nice house, good job, a loving partner and beautiful 5-year-old daughter...what we thought was straight forward has not turned out that way...there is chance it may have spread, and I am sickened to death...sometimes I have just not wanted to be bothered but you ladies have given me the push to carry on... I love the fact you all like my work...and will never let you down...but I so appreciate you doing this for me Sabina...you are a truly good friend....xxx
